Frequently asked questions
Short answers about RadReporter.
What is RadReporter?
RadReporter is a web tool that turns a radiologist's dictation or typed notes into a structured draft report written in the radiologist's own style. Anything the draft adds that was not dictated is marked, and the radiologist reviews, edits and signs the report.
Who is RadReporter for?
RadReporter is for radiologists and other clinicians who write imaging reports. Each user works in their own account with their own reporting style.
Does RadReporter diagnose or replace the radiologist?
No. RadReporter does not make diagnoses and does not sign or release reports on its own. It drafts from what the radiologist dictated, and the radiologist stays responsible for reviewing, correcting and signing every report.
Is every sentence of a report reviewed?
It depends on the working mode set for your account. In the stricter mode an independent review checks each sentence against your dictation, highlights any sentence it cannot verify, and flags the report for review if doubt remains. The faster mode skips that review and shows the draft as written, with sentences that were not dictated marked as additions.
Can RadReporter write in my own style?
Yes. RadReporter can follow your section order, wording preferences and example reports. Style setup is done for you on request: email support@radreporter.app.
Does RadReporter support voice dictation?
Yes. You can dictate with a microphone in your browser and the speech is transcribed to text before the report is written. The audio is not stored.
Can I include prior reports?
Yes. You can paste a prior report into your dictation and the draft can describe change against it.
How much does RadReporter cost?
Every account starts with a free trial of 75 reports. After that, contact us at support@radreporter.app about premium access.
How is patient data handled?
Labelled patient identifiers, such as a name, MRN, date of birth, phone number or email address, are replaced with a placeholder before your text is processed, and audio is not stored. Identifiers that are not labelled are not removed, so do not dictate patient names. The Privacy page has the details.
