Privacy
Last updated 21 October 2026. This page describes how RadReporter currently handles data.
What we store
Your account details, such as your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, the verified email address that provider gives us.
The reports you generate, which are kept in your report history, and any style preferences or example reports set up for your account.
Patient identifiers
Before text is processed, RadReporter replaces labelled identifiers with a placeholder: values after labels such as Name, Patient, MRN, ID and DOB, phone numbers, email addresses and national ID numbers, and a name that follows a patient label and title. Exam dates, age, sex, laterality and measurements are kept because the report needs them.
Names, addresses or other details that are not labelled are not removed, and neither is anything inside an image. Do not dictate patient names or other identifiers you do not need.
Voice dictation
Dictation audio is recorded in your browser in short chunks and sent to our speech-to-text service. Audio and transcripts are not stored or logged by that service. The resulting text is handled like typed text.
Service providers
To write and review reports, the identifier-removed text is sent to AI service providers that run the language models behind RadReporter.
Debugging traces
Detailed traces of a report run, which contain clinical text, are switched off by default. If our team switches them on to investigate a problem, they are visible only to authorised staff and are deleted automatically after the retention period, 30 days unless set otherwise.
